Smart Incubator is a Windows desktop system that holds temperature and humidity in range, candles and photographs each egg on schedule, rotates and transfers to lockdown automatically, and counts down to hatch day — with one account that follows you from the app to the web.
Eleven modules covering environment, handling, imaging, and lifecycle — running on the incubator itself, not in the cloud.
Holds temperature and humidity inside a target range, raises a non-blocking alert when either drifts, and drives heater, cooler, and humidifier relays through threshold-and-hysteresis rules.
A twelve-step CNC sequence lifts each egg, lights and candles it, captures a photo, and returns it to its slot — the same cycle runs on a twice-daily schedule or on demand from the tray map.
Turns every tray position on a configurable interval through Day 17, tracked against taught coordinates so it never collides with an in-progress candling cycle or lockdown transfer.
Transfers each egg to its lockdown position the moment it reaches Day 18, and switches environment targets and CNC motion into full lockdown mode once every egg on the tray has moved.
A live per-egg countdown on the dashboard for everything in lockdown, with a gold highlight and a logged alert the moment a predicted hatch day arrives.
A photo timeline for every egg currently on the tray, with a one-click discard that routes through the same CNC queue as every other automated move.
Hold a key at the machine, or press and hold Ask on the web, and ask about egg counts, temperature, humidity, or a specific egg's status — answered out loud by a speech model running entirely on the incubator's own PC. Turn on the action tier and it can move the gantry, take a photo, or change a setpoint too, always read back and confirmed before anything happens.
Every candling photo is scored fertile, infertile, or uncertain by an on-device vision model trained on your own candling photos — an opt-in second opinion alongside the photo timeline, never a replacement for a human look.
One physical tray, one desktop app, one account.
Place an egg on the tray and The system detects it and opens a Day 1 profile — no software entry needed.
Environment control, rotation, candling, and lockdown handle themselves against a taught coordinate map, gated behind homing so nothing moves before it's ready.
Sign in on the desktop app to run the incubator, or on the web to manage your account — with a 24-hour offline grace window if a device loses its connection mid-hatch.
Create an account on the web, then sign in from the desktop app to start automating.
